Bent Tree Farm

February 12

I went to this gorgeous farm with my horse class. Pretty ponies, beautiful barn, classy carriages. (See what I did there?) The owner's husband does vaulting, and he did a demonstration on his awesome horse. The horse practically floats above the ground when he trots. I wanted to bring him home with me, but figured they probably wouldn't let me take him.

Look at that gorgeous head!

 Ahh, look at that extension.

No big deal...

They have this fabulous carriage barn with 15+ carriages, carts, and a sleigh. The building is climate controlled so the wood doesn't crack, rot, or have any other problems.

 How neat is that?!

*Hums* Dashing through the snow, on a one horse open sleigh, over the fields we go, laughing all the way!

I think we should sing Christmas songs all year long. Anyone else agree with me?

This is my favorite carriage. Gorgeous.

Ohhh Fresians. They have some really nice ones at this farm.

The barn is set up differently than most barns. It looks like the stalls, tack room, and office were dropped into the middle of the indoor. Neat idea.

I'm excited to go back and try vaulting. Sounds like quite the adventure!
